Dear Customers,
In order to offer a fine quality fo service to our customers and to make up for lines increasing overhead costs such as operating cost, charter hire cost remaining unchanged, bunker costs soaring continuously and general management expenses etc, the member lines of the Intra-Asia Discussion Agreement (IADA) covering trade between Korea origins and all intra-Asia destinations wish to inform the shipping public of the rate restoration plan for all shipments from Korea to Intra-Asia with effect from 1st April 2006. The Lines are fully appreciative of your deep understandings and confident that our customers will support this plan which is absoultely necessary for lines to continue meeting the high standard of service required of them.
1) Rate Restoration :
U$100/TEU and U$200/FEU on top of current rate
for Korea / Taiwan, Hong Kong, SPRC, Singapore, Malaysia,
Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines,
Indonesia corridors
2) Effective Date : 1st April 2006
